Lake Sammamish and Mercer Island saw a flurry of waterfront sales activity in August with roughly 1/3 of all available private waterfront homes selling in that month alone. The Seattle and Eastside waterfront markets moved along at a much slower pace last month. Prices have remained remarkably steady, even as the pace of sales picked up on Mercer Island and Lake Sammamish, a good sign on continued market strength and sustainability.
