October 2013 Waterfront Real Estate Activity Report for Seattle, Eastside, Mercer Island and Lake Sammamish

Lake Sammamish continues to see incredible sales activity–5 pending sales this month leave only 12 private waterfront homes on the market for sale. Seattle, the Eastside and Mercer Island all show seasonally slow activity with a large volume of closed sales (homes that would have likely gone under contract in August or September) but very few new pending sales.

This Waterfront Report for Seattle, the Eastside, Lake Sammamish and Mercer Island incorporates data for private waterfront homes on major bodies of water. It includes active, new and pending listing activity as well as monthly benchmarks for cost per waterfront foot and cost per living square foot of sold waterfront properties. Each report includes a map and a link to view that month’s listing and sale activity.
